Our Mission:

To develop first-in-class drug therapies for tinnitus and hearing disorders

What is Tinnitus?

Tinnitus is...

  • A constant ringing, humming, or hissing sound not caused by an external noise.

  • A potentially debilitating neurological disorder.

  • A contributing factor for depression, anxiety, and insomnia.

  • Not fully treatable using current therapies.

Tinnitus Impacts 740 Million Worldwide

US Adult Patient Population

  • 14% of the adult population is affected, with 48 million people in the US alone.

  • This issue is expected to increase in prevalence as countries develop and populations age.

  • The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health estimates that over 22 million workers are exposed to damaging levels of noise each year, which is a primary contributor to tinnitus.

  • There are currently no FDA-approved drugs for tinnitus on the market.
